Putin, Kim Jong-un To Meet In Russia To Discuss Wardrobe Upgrades
The two dictators said in a joint statement that “high level talks must be conducted for immediate sartorial improvements”
Saying that their official attire is “not up to the elegant standards of many Western leaders,” Kim Jong-un and Vladimir Putin are set to meet in Vladivostok to discuss “comprehensive wardrobe upgrades.”
“We might not agree on every issue,” Putin said in a joint statement, “but we both concur that our drab clothing has to be more stylish and chic. This endeavor is urgent.”
In the same statement, Kim Jong-un said, “Vladimir and I understand that it’s all about visual media today, loaded with photos and video, that drives public opinion. But we look like a couple of frumpy, outdated despots. We want to demonstrate that modern dictators can be dapper and dashing, too.”
In a related story, TMZ reports that famous French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier has purchased a first-class ticket to Russia for early October. It is not known if Gautier will preside over the two leaders’ sartorial makeover team.
