And, now, off to other dimensions…

Not Satire, But I Think My Debut Novel Will Keep You Well Entertained

If you’re one of the thousands of Medium members who have been following my satire posts for the past eight years, I am humbled and grateful. But every writer thinks he or she has a novel in them, and this one—ludicrously, a decade in the making—is mine.

Back in 2016, when the world appeared to be creeping closer to self-destruction, I started posting political satire on Medium. But I was writing this novel, THE MYSTIC IN THE MEWS: A Metaphysical Adventure Story, simultaneously. I’m excited to finally share it with you and a weary world that might feel uplifted by the mystic’s promising message.

THE MYSTIC IN THE MEWS centers around an all-knowing, super-aware who returns after 2600 years to wake up a world that has fallen asleep. And what he shares with the book’s two young protagonists — that the truth of reality is 180º from everything they’ve ever believed — sets them on a thrilling course of mind-bending, miraculous possibilities.

You can read more about the book, its timely message, and its engaging characters at TheMysticInTheMews.com. Or find it on Amazon.

Again, for the 18,000-plus of you who supported, encouraged and cheered me on as I tried to put a satirical spin on a darkening world, I hope you’ll enjoy my first novel.

And, remember, no matter what comes next… never forget to laugh.
